ASUSTek Unveils the P526
ASUSTek has unveiled a new Windows Mobile 6 Professional device pretending to be a Smartphone. The P526 looks like a Smartphone because of its numeric pad, but actually runs Windows Mobile 6 Professional. The device is powered by a 200 Mhz processor and includes Bluetooth, GPS, GSM/GPRS, 128 MB ROM, and microSD. Price is unknown but the device is expected this quarter. Complete Story @ the::unwired
HD Radio Chip for Devices from Samsung
Samsung is working on a new HD (High Definition) Radio chipset for devices. HD radio has been slow to take off but adds additional free channels to US airwaves and better sound to existing states. Samsung expects to have the chip available at the beginning of 2008. Complete Story @ The Boy Genius
E-Ten X500 and M700 WM6 Upgrades
E-Ten has released updates for two of its glofiish devices to Windows Mobile 6. The X500 and M700 (which I recently reviewed) now can move to Windows Mobile 6 Professional, though you must register with E-Ten to get the download. WM6 Upgrades @ E-Ten
